On Monday, California Highway Patrol's Golden Gate Division encountered more than just traffic violations during a stop on the Bay Bridge. A Honda sedan was pulled over around 8:30 PM for reasons not disclosed in the report, and the officer's K-9 partner, Sully, was brought in to inspect the vehicle. According to a social media post from the CHP Golden Gate Division, the dog's keen senses detected the presence of drugs, prompting a search that led to a significant find.
Within the car, driven by three men with no valid driver's licenses, the officer discovered a bag filled with narcotics, including fentanyl, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine.
The men were promptly arrested and taken to the County Jail, facing charges that the authorities have not detailed.
