Clackamas County residents are invited to review proposed changes to building code fees. The county's Building Codes division has put forward a proposal to adjust fees for permits and services related to construction and remodeling. If approved, the changes will take effect on July 1. A public hearing is scheduled for April 10 at 10 a.m. to allow community members to provide feedback or ask questions about the proposed fee changes. The hearing will take place at the Board of Commissioners Hearing Room on the Red Soils campus at 2051 Kaen Road in Oregon City. A virtual option will also be available for those unable to attend in person.
Hard copies of the fee modifications are also available for those who prefer to review them in person. These can be picked up at the Development Services Permitting lobby, located on the second floor of the Development Services Building on the Red Soils campus.
