The accident occurred in the outer stretches of the harbor, approximately 10 miles from the city's Long Wharf. Images released show the Eileen Rita partially submerged by the rocky, 1.8-acre island state property, which is also a habitat for various nesting birds. Despite the dramatic scene, there were no injuries reported from the incident; however, the rescued parties were assessed by emergency medical personnel on shore.
