An 18-year-old from Cordova has been arrested and charged with a series of offenses, including attempted murder and multiple burglaries, Shelby County authorities disclosed. The suspect, identified as Mister Foster, has become the focus of an investigation encompassing a shooting and several break-ins across the region.

Information released by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office asserts that Foster's apprehension is tied to a shooting that transpired on February 23 on Afton Grove Road, as detailed by WREG. The victim, after reportedly confronting individuals attempting to steal a car outside his home, was shot and hospitalized in non-critical condition.

Further investigation led law enforcement to execute a warrant at Foster's Nobel Avenue residence on March 21. During the search, deputies discovered multiple items linking the teen to the shooting and thefts from three different businesses - La Fogata Mexican Restaurant, Vantage Point, and a Mobil Gas Station, occurring between March 7 and March 19, as reported by FOX13.

Alongside the shooting charge, the range of accusations against Foster includes criminal attempt theft of property ranging from $10,000 to $60,000, two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, and theft of property amounting from $2,500 to $10,000, according to a social media post by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. The accused has several ongoing cases involving theft, burglary, and evading arrest, and was released on bond from a previous charge when these alleged acts occurred.

Authorities have also implicated a 15-year-old in connection with the Afton Grove Road shooting. Charged with offenses similar to those faced by Foster.
