
DeKalb County Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that took place in the early hours of Saturday near a local Food Mart. FOX 5 Atlanta reports that a man, believed to be in his 30s, was found collapsed with gunshot wounds around 2:30 a.m. on the 400 block of North Indian Creek Drive. He was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

Further information revealed by WSB-TV confirms that the man suffered a gunshot wound and was found just after 2:15 a.m. Investigators believe the shooting occurred about half a mile away from where the man was discovered, in the vicinity of a food mart on Memorial Drive near Rockbridge Road.
