Chairman Dr. Romona Jackson Jones is set to deliver the anticipated 2025 State of the County address. This significant event is a collaboration with the Douglas County Chamber and the Council for Quality Growth, and it promises to offer insights into the recent advancements within the county as well as laying out a vision for its continued development, according to Douglas County.
Scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., the State of the County address will take place at the Douglasville Conference Center. This is an opportunity for the community to learn firsthand about the accomplishments of their local government and what initiatives are underway to propel Douglas County forward. The address will encapsulate various topics, touching on economic growth, infrastructure, and community programs.
For those unable to attend the event, the county has made provisions to ensure access to the proceedings is not limited to physical attendance.
