
The City of Eden Prairie recently celebrated the dedication and achievements of its staff during the Spring Employee Recognition Event, where several employees were duly acknowledged for their steadfast commitment to the community. Notably, three employees were lauded for their twenty-five-year-long devotion to public service within the city, as reported by the City of Eden Prairie.
A standout among those honored was Records Supervisor Alyssa Benkowski, who received the coveted "EPy" Award. According to the City of Eden Prairie, Benkowski has been instrumental in "adapting to the role of supervisor" and making significant contributions to the Records Unit and the Police Department as a whole. In her efforts to streamline processes and manage projects efficiently, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and communication skills, earning her the respect of colleagues and peers in adjacent agencies alike.
The "City Manager’s Quality Award" – a recognition given to employees who to have showcased extraordinary productivity and quality reflective of the City's core values – was also presented to Benkowski. These values include Collaboration, Innovation, Integrity, Performance, and Relationships, which Benkowski has exemplified in her approach to her work and her interactions with others, as per the City of Eden Prairie.
