On the streets of Sun City, a chilling case of animal cruelty has been brought swiftly to the public's attention. According to the El Paso Police Department, a man was arrested earlier this month for the abuse of a helpless canine.
The incident occurred on April 1, when multiple reports emerged of a man who was seen to be both dragging and kicking a dog on a leash. The Animal Cruelty Unit, tasked with these dark mirrors to our humanity, responded to these cries for justice coming from the 10500 blocks of Ashwood. As they delved into the investigation, Emilio Adrian Hernandez was identified to have been the one subjecting Goose, a brown boxer, to this harsh treatment.
It wasn't long before the wheels of justice began to turn. On Friday, Hernandez found himself in cuffs, arrested, and later booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. His actions, a stark reminder of the latent brutality that can lurk within, did not go unpunished. Subsequently, Goose found a reprieve from his ordeal as he was surrendered into the caring arms of animal services, likely to be his sanctuary from the storm he endured.
