An El Paso man faces serious charges after authorities arrested him for drug possession and child pornography. El Paso County Sheriff's Office reports that their Sex Offender Registration and Tracking (SORT) Section apprehended 42-year-old Mark Anthony Ledesma on Montana Avenue. The arrest, which took place on Thursday, led to Ledesma being booked at the El Paso County Detention Facility with no bond, according to El Paso County Sheriff Oscar Ugarte.
Ledesma, who remains in custody, was wanted on multiple offenses. According to the aforementioned social media post, authorities charged him with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance alongside twenty counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Charged with serious offenses, the community expresses concerns on social media about the nature and extent of Ledesma's alleged activities.
Upon his arrest, the Fugitive Apprehension Unit of the Sheriff’s Office immediately took Ledesma into custody, indicating the priority given to the case by local law enforcement agencies.
