A pedestrian, known as Garcia, succumbed to their injuries sustained during a horrific crash that unfolded on Monday. According to the El Paso Police Department, two vehicles were traveling along the 1400 block of N. Mesa Street when one changed lanes and set off a chain reaction.
Strike by Vehicle 1 as it switched lanes, Vehicle 2 lost control and swerved onto the sidewalk where five pedestrians were walking. In the chaos, three individuals were hit, a grim outcome that led to Garcia's subsequent death at a local hospital. Emphasizing the hit-and-run nature of the incident, the unidentified driver of the first vehicle fled the scene, leaving behind a narrative of uncertainty and a search for justice. While the investigation persists, another individual, Burciaga, has been arrested in connection with the incident, albeit on unrelated drug possession charges. "Burciaga was arrested for possession
