Eliot Tatelman, the long-standing president and public emblem of Jordan's Furniture, is retiring from his day-to-day duties. The company, headquartered in Dedham, has become synonymous with Tatelman's leadership and influence over the years, WHDH reported.
Termed by Jordan's as a "natural evolution in its leadership," the reins of the company will now be held by Eliot's sons, Josh and Michael Tatelman, who have been co-CEOs for the previous five years, according to CBS Boston.
The shift in leadership marks a milestone for the family-run business which has, under the older Tatelman's guidance, expanded from a small enterprise to a regional powerhouse with locations across New England. "Jordan’s remains proudly family-run, with Josh and Michael continuing the legacy Eliot has built," the company stated, emphasizing a commitment to innovation, customer experience, and local community impact, according to both WHDH and CBS Boston.
