
The City of Euless has officially ushered in a new era with the appointment of Lawrence Bryant as the Assistant City Manager. Bryant, slated to take up the reins in March, has an extensive resume honed in the City of Azle, Texas, where he's dedicated over 20 years to public service. Having managed a plethora of departments, from Finance to Parks, his expertise lies in the day-to-day operations and the intricacies of city budgeting and development services.
City Manager Chris Barker, signaling a fervent endorsement, has publicly extolled Bryant's qualifications for the role. "With over 20 years of experience in local government, Lawrence brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will be a tremendous asset to our community," Barker said in a statement obtained by the City of Euless' official news release. He also underscored Bryant's leadership acumen and unwavering dedication to public service, vital to maintaining the city's high service delivery standards.
Bryant's academic credentials add further weight to his professional capacity. He holds a Master of Public Administration Degree focused on Local Government Management from the University of North Texas, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and a Minor in Management from Brigham Young University. Additionally, his active participation in the Texas City Management Association and the International City/County Management Association reflects a commitment to continuous learning and sharing in city administration.
