Nightly closures on Veterans Boulevard will take place from April 14 to April 18, from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The work will focus on resurfacing sections between Clearview Parkway and Transcontinental Drive, according to the Jefferson Parish.
The Jefferson Parish has announced that the closures are necessary for public safety and to improve traffic flow. During the closure hours, motorists will be able to use available lanes to bypass the construction. The work will begin after evening traffic decreases and will be completed before morning rush hour begins.
Due to possible weather changes, work dates may be adjusted, and drivers should stay updated to avoid detours or delays. Temporary closures are part of road improvements.
