In line with the next phase of the project, for those with indoor gas meters, take note that a service crew will be swapping out and connecting service lines to the new main after the main work is done. They will be reaching out to schedule a time to move your meter outdoors, making sure your service isn't interrupted, according to the statement obtained by CenterPoint Energy.
While the aim is to maintain daily life with as little interruption as possible, Hopkins will see these temporary measures stick around a bit longer. CenterPoint Energy assures us that permanent restoration will be happening a few weeks after construction wraps up in the area, asking for your continued patience in a recent bulletin.
