The Goodyear Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for Roy Olivas, a missing citizen last seen over a week ago on West McDowell Road in Goodyear, Arizona. According to the department's release, Olivas was reported missing by his family on April 19th, five days after he was last seen on April 14th, 2025. The 66-year-old Hispanic male is 5 feet 11 inches tall and 180 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. Authorities note that Olivas, who is homeless and suffers from medical issues that might cause him to seem disoriented, frequents the area where he vanished.
Investigators are asking for the public's assistance in locating Olivas. He is believed to possibly be wearing flip-flops, a maroon shirt, and shorts. The Arizona Department of Public Safety urges anyone who may come into contact with Olivas to approach him with care and contact the Goodyear Police Department at 623-932-1220 or dial 911 immediately. Detective DeSimone has been appointed as the point of contact for this case.
