
A 15-year-old boy lies in critical condition following a shooting incident in Griffin on Wednesday night. FOX 5 Atlanta reports that the Griffin Police Department responded to a call shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the 800 block of North Avenue, where they discovered the teenager with a gunshot wound.
As per WSB-TV, Griffin Police were accompanied by Griffin Fire Rescue and WellStar EMS personnel. They found the injured boy and chose to transport him by air ambulance to a nearby medical facility.
As of this moment, the identity of the teen has not been made public by the authorities, and details surrounding the events that led to the shooting are still being determined.
