Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost confirmed that an Indiana man has been sentenced to a three—to four-and-a-half-year prison term for scamming over $105,000 from Ohio residents. Roger Glenn Gray, 52, from Aurora, Indiana, received his sentence after pleading guilty to a single count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, a second-degree felony, in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court.

Alongside his prison sentence, the court ordered Gray to pay restitution to the 14 victims he defrauded. According to the statement released by the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's Office, "Scammers and fraudsters will always try to take advantage of hardworking Ohioans, but we’re here to make sure they don’t get away with it," Yost said, "Justice has been served in this case, and other bad apples should beware." The sentence follows a history of criminal activities by Gray, including a 2003 felony theft conviction in Indiana, two Ohio convictions for felony theft from the elderly in 2012 in Hamilton County, and a misdemeanor theft conviction in 2014 in the same county.

Based on the indictment in July 2024, between April 7, 2022, and April 21, 2024, Gray performed under the guise of his business, All Around Concrete. He accepted payments for concrete work and various home-improvement projects that were inadequately done or not completed, failing to provide materials and issuing no refunds to the customers.
