Shared through a Facebook post by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, the competition was hosted by the Louisiana State Police to foster and improve negotiation techniques under pressure. Participants faced off in simulations designed to mimic the intensity of real-life incidents, enduring the rigor of no break periods – a testament to the unpredictable and demanding nature of their work.
