
A fatal two-vehicle collision on Isabel Avenue in Livermore claimed the lives of two drivers yesterday, according to an update from the Livermore Police Department. On Monday, April 21, 2025, at approximately 5:55 a.m., the Livermore Police Department received multiple reports of a major injury collision on Isabel Avenue between Vallecitos Road and Kalthoff Common.

Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the aftermath of what appears to have been a severe collision near Kalthoff Common. In a tragic turn of events, despite attempts to swiftly provide life-saving measures, both drivers, a 49-year-old man from Tracy and a 23-year-old man from Manteca, were pronounced dead at the scene. To fully grasp the circumstances of this incident, authorities thoroughly closed the roadway for several hours to clear the area and conduct an investigation.
The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau has been tasked with identifying the deceased individuals, with pending notifications to their next of kin.
