During their interaction, law enforcement officials noticed a loaded firearm in plain sight on the backseat of the vehicle, which led to a further examination. They recovered the weapon along with an extended magazine. The vehicle search yielded various items, 17.15 grams of cocaine and 19 grams of marijuana prepped for distribution, as well as a digital scale and a substantial sum of money reminiscent of drug sales proceeds. There was also a disassembled firearm, additional rounds, and a 50-round drum magazine found.
As a result of the discoveries, Wong was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges. The items confiscated suggest involvement in narcotics distribution and possession of weapons in conjunction with illicit substances. Wong now faces serious allegations, including possession of a controlled substance for sale, armed possession of a controlled substance with a loaded firearm, and dealing with undetectable firearms.
Following the arrest, Wong was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
