The Livermore Police Department requests the public's help identifying a silver minivan in a hit-and-run incident last month. According to their social media post, the incident occurred on March 25 at approximately 1:55 p.m. A female bicyclist was struck by the vehicle while riding southbound and crossing First Street in a crosswalk on P Street.

Following the incident, the driver of the silver minivan initially stopped to check on the bicyclist but departed soon after, proceeding southbound on P Street. The female cyclist thankfully sustained only minor injuries. The notice includes an appeal from the police to the community. "We’re looking to speak with the driver to better understand what happened," the Livermore Police Department stated. Residents who might recognize the vehicle or have any information have been urged to reach out.

Anyone with information about the silver minivan or the incident is urged to call the non-emergency line at (925) 371-4987.
