
A violent incident erupted Sunday evening at an East Memphis Valero gas station, leaving one man in critical condition. The Memphis Police Department was on the scene at the 5300 block of Knight Arnold Rd. by 7:08 p.m. after receiving reports of gunshots, according to Action News 5. The victim has been taken to Regional One Hospital, but as yet, no suspects have been detained in connection with the shooting.
The same incident was confirmed by a report from Fox13, stating that a man was shot and seriously injured on Knight Arnold. This account highlighted that the property was also struck during the incident, adding another layer to the investigation. However, the authorities are still searching to identify and detain the responsible person. “A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition,” the station reported, and “Police reported that no one was detained on the scene,” observed Fox13 Memphis.
