Early in the morning on Saturday, a 22-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest at 3566 Bolfair Drive NW. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers arrived on the scene following a call about a person shot at around 1:33 AM. The man was reported to be alert, conscious, and breathing before being transported to the hospital for further medical care.
The Atlanta Police Department further reported that the Major Crimes Response Unit was swiftly at the scene to probe into the events leading up to the shooting. Standing outside the address, the investigators began their work, assembling evidence and seeking out witnesses. Although the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under active investigation, no arrests or motives were immediately disclosed.
The Atlanta Police Department has not yet provided information regarding potential suspects or developments in the case. They have, however, solicited assistance from the public, asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
