
A man was reportedly mugged in Forest Park last night, as confirmed by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. This incident unfolded near Carr Lane & Wells Drive around 8 p.m. when the victim, a 39-year-old man, was looking for his brother to accompany him on a walk.
According to the SLMPD official report, two unidentified men, armed with handguns and demanding money, confronted the victim. They allegedly made off with his wallet, jewelry, and car keys before fleeing the area. The victim, after the unfortunate event, opted to return home before reporting the crime to the authorities.
The St. Louis Police District 2 officers were alerted to the robbery at approximately 11:35 p.m. They are now seeking information to advance their investigation. At this time, however, no suspects have been apprehended in connection with this occurrence.
