According to a social media post by the City of Mansfield, Texas Municipal Government, Mansfield residents will have the unique opportunity to interact with their city leaders during a laid-back "Council Chat" scheduled for tomorrow.
Civic engagement is moving out of City Hall and into the aisles of Market Street grocery store at 3145 E. Broad St., from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., where citizens can meet face-to-face with council members, ask questions, or acquaint themselves with the individuals shaping their community, as detailed by the City of Mansfield.
Engagement sessions like the Council Chat aim to make local government more inclusive and transparent.
