The Marietta History Center will host its monthly Pop-In event on April 19, inviting families to explore the Farm to Table Fun theme with educational activities and crafts. The event is free, thanks to sponsorship from local firm Cauthorn, Owen, and Sanders.
According to the City of Marietta release, from 11 am to 2 pm, the Cobb Library's Book Mobile will be on-site, and a STEM History Program by author Kim Zachman will start at 11:15 am. Bach to Rock will perform from 12:30 pm to 2 pm, and there will be information tables offering additional crafts and learning opportunities. Zachman's presentation will explore the liquid paradox of "There's No Cream in Cream Soda," while the Cobb Library Georgia Room will provide more local history.
The event encourages hands-on creativity and learning, with various craft stations for kids. The Marietta History Center, located at 1 Depot Street, will be open from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information, contact 770-794-5710 or visit the Marietta History Center website.
