
Marietta Parks, Recreation, and Facilities will host a series of LEGO® Summer Camps this June and July to engage children in creative and engineering activities. The camps, managed by Play-Well TEKnologies, will be held at the Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center, located at 545 Kenneth E. Marcus Way. They are open to children ages 5 to 12, as per the City of Marietta website.
The camps will offer themes such as Adventures in STEM for children ages 5-7, and STEM Explorations for ages 7-12, where kids will learn STEM concepts through LEGO® building challenges and engineer-led projects. The Radical Rides camp will allow children to design vehicles and explore the mechanics of gears and motors. Registration is open, with prices ranging from $175 to $215, depending on the camp and duration.
