Mark your calendars for a day to honor mothers and indulge in local commerce as Marysville readies for its annual Mother Lovin' Market on May 4. Jennings Memorial Park will transform into a vibrant marketplace from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., welcoming visitors, rain or shine, to an array of over 50 vendors, all gathered to display their handcrafted and homegrown treasures.
The city expects an eclectic mix of artisan goods to cater to those looking for something special this Mother's Day. Shoppers can find products ranging from unique accessories and home décor to plants, flowers, beauty products, and more, where the event aims to celebrate the connection between families, commerce, and community. According to Marysville's official announcement, Recreation Supervisor Kristen Rasmussen shared her enthusiasm, "I personally love this event because it brings families together to celebrate women while supporting local businesses."
Beyond the retail offerings, attendees at the Mother Lovin' Market can savor a selection of food and beverages from local food trucks. Highlights include Gusto Wood Fired Pizza, BZ's Mini Donuts, and Giddy-Up Espresso Truck, ensuring visitors enjoy more than just shopping. The day also promises additional activities tailored to the whole family, enhancing the event's festive atmosphere.
New attractions this year include face painting and the opportunity to capture memories with mini-photo sessions by a professional photographer. These activities are sure to create lasting impressions for guests of all ages. The event, firmly rooted in the park's Rotary Ranch and Red Barn buildings, will comfortably accommodate community and celebration, no matter the weather. "I’m especially excited for the diverse array of goods that our vendors are selling this year," Rasmussen told the City of Marysville.
