A Maryville Police Department officer is currently in stable condition following a motorcycle crash that occurred as he was responding to a separate incident. This accident took place on West Broadway Avenue, near a Dunkin’ Donuts, as reported by WATE. The officer, part of the department's traffic division, received medical attention at a local hospital where his injuries were evaluated.
As per the WVLT report, the Blount County Sheriff’s Office is overseeing the investigation of the crash. The identity of the officer and any others involved in the accident are yet to be released to the public.
