
Memphis is reeling from yet another violent incident, this time resulting in the death of Jorge Reyes. In a brief yet sobering statement released on social media, the Memphis Police Department revealed details surrounding a fatal shooting on the 3200 block of Madewell Drive. According to the Memphis Police Department, the call came in at 6:32 PM on Wednesday, leading officers to find Reyes wounded by gunfire. Despite their response, Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene, his life cut tragically short.
The crime scene yielded several shell casings of differing calibers, a grim mosaic that hints at the violence of Reyes' final moments. Surveillance footage collected nearby showed several individuals now considered suspects or persons of interest in this developing investigation. However, no arrests have been made, and the Memphis Police Department has called on the public to assist, offering a phone number for tips.
