The shelves at Mesa Main Library are being updated, and the extra inventory will be available for purchase. On Friday and Saturday, the Spring Cleaning Book Sale will offer a variety of books at affordable prices. The sale will take place at the Main Library, located at 64 E. First St., from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days, according to the City of Mesa.
The sale will offer a variety of genres, including fiction, romance, science fiction, and children's books. Nonfiction titles will cover topics such as business and finance, self-help, history, and art. Cookbooks will also be available. Hardcovers will be priced at $1, while paperbacks and children's books will be available for 50 cents each.
Mystery boxes will be available for $10 throughout the event, with a brief description offering a hint of their contents. Other items for sale include magazines—10 for $1, CDs—4 for $1, and DVDs and audiobooks—2 for $1. Baking pans will be priced at $2 each. These items can be found at the Mesa Family Resource Center, located on the library's lower level.
