Local residents with a stake in the Hwy 252/I-94 corridor have two upcoming opportunities to gain insight into the project's developments and safety updates, thanks to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). These sessions are part of an ongoing effort to keep the community informed and involved.
For those keen to engage in a face-to-face dialogue, MnDOT is hosting its monthly Coffee Chat on Thursday, April 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the local Caribou Coffee located at 8559 Edinburgh Center Dr. North in Brooklyn Park. Attendees can ask questions and receive updates directly from the project staff while enjoying their favorite brew. Interested parties who cannot make it to the Coffee Chat are encouraged to visit the MnDOT website for information on future dates.
Later the same day, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., MnDOT will switch gears to a digital platform for a Virtual Community Table Talk focused on the area's transportation safety. This virtual meeting is an opportunity for residents to dive into the most recent transportation safety data and engage in a question-and-answer session with the agency's staff.
Those who wish to participate in the virtual discussion are required to register in advance. The registration link and additional details about the meeting are made available on MnDOT's official event page. To stay abreast of the latest meetings and events, community members can sign up for email updates, ensuring they're informed of all upcoming engagement opportunities related to these infrastructure projects.
