
A 26-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after losing control of his vehicle on Pacific Highway in the Midway District, as confirmed by the San Diego Police Department. The incident, which took place at approximately 8:29 PM yesterday, involved the rider being ejected from his 2023 Honda Rally CRF300L motorcycle and suffering an open fracture to his leg.
According to the official press release by the San Diego Police Department, alcohol was ruled out as a contributing factor in the crash, and the motorcyclist was promptly transported to a local hospital, with his injuries described as non-life-threatening. Officer J. Perales, the Watch Commander on duty, has stated that the San Diego Police Traffic Division is taking over the investigation to understand the events leading up to the collision.
The area of 4100 Pacific Highway, a frequently traveled route in San Diego, was the scene of this alarming accident, which disrupted local traffic. At the same time, emergency responders attended to the rider, and law enforcement began their initial assessment of the scene.
