The New Orleans Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the Algiers neighborhood over the weekend. According to WGNO, the incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Sunday night in the 2100 block of Valentine Court.
Responding to the scene, NOPD officers found a man who had been shot. Declaring their arrival at 10:07 p.m., per a statement obtained by WDSU, the victim was pronounced dead.
