
The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating Misti Eve Monroe, a white female born on June 11, 1999, who is wanted in connection with a theft incident, according to a social media post from the department. The NOPD reports that the property was stolen at around 3:30 p.m. on April 15, from a business located near the intersection of Canal and South Peters Streets.
Authorities, after reviewing the case details and evidence from the scene, have pointed out Monroe as the person behind the theft, leading them to obtain a warrant for her arrest - making the grounds for their identification efforts public through their call for assistance, which was issued in hopes that someone might have critical information about Monroe's whereabouts. Through the standard channels, Eighth District detectives are taking in tips from the public regarding the crime or Monroe's current location, with the option for informants to contact them directly at 504-658-6080 or to remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
The NOPD has shared an image of Monroe and is asking community members who may have seen her or have any relevant information that could aid in her apprehension, to step forward. The appeal from the police highlights the significance of collaborative community efforts in addressing criminal incidents and ensuring that local businesses and residents can operate and live without the looming threat of such disruptions to their safety and security.
