Norman residents are invited to provide input on the future of Westwood Golf and Tennis Center. The city is holding public viewing opportunities for the master plan at the Norman Development Center until 5 PM on Friday and at the Westwood Center from April 7-13, according to the City of Norman.

The Parks & Recreation Department, the Westwood Steering Committee, and consultants have developed a plan to renovate the golf and tennis center. The project includes a new golf clubhouse, tennis pro shop, outdoor and indoor tennis courts, an indoor pickleball space, and updated parking and landscaping. The plan is based on community input from user surveys. "We're excited to get this masterplan across the finish line and have a clear plan and strategy for the future of Golf and Tennis at Westwood Park," said Parks & Recreation Director Jason Olsen, as reported by the City of Norman.

The City of Norman is seeking public input on the Westwood outpost project. "We really want the public to be interested and involved in this project," said James Briggs, Park Development Manager. Residents are encouraged to review the plans and provide feedback before the city refines the design. The updated proposal will be presented on April 17 at the golf clubhouse, followed by a review by the Board of Parks Commissioners and possible consideration by the Norman City Council in July.
