A woman known for years only as Jane Doe 46 — a figure in a child exploitation investigation — is expected to be identified, with her arrest announced at a press conference by the FBI Oklahoma City field office. The bureau said the conference would be held at 10 a.m. CST and would reveal her identity along with that of a male co-defendant.

said federal and local law enforcement officials involved in the case would provide details during the press conference about their roles in the investigation and arrest operation. The account is labeled FBI Oklahoma City.
Who Is Jane Doe 46
The case stretches back years. As reported by WRBL, the FBI had been trying to identify a woman in connection with a child sexual exploitation investigation, saying she may have had critical information pertaining to the identity of a child victim. Investigators believed Jane Doe 46 could hold the key to naming a child seen with her in video evidence.
The outlet's report described the video showing the woman with a child, noting she was identified only as a white female with a distinctive tattoo on her left wrist. Her face was never visible in the footage, though she was heard speaking English, the station reported.
Footage First Surfaced in 2022
According to WSFA, the initial video of the unidentified woman was first seen and likely created in May 2022. The station's report also noted that in released audio, she was twice heard saying, “Stand up.”
The FBI shared photographs pulled from the video to aid identification, including images of the woman's wrist tattoo, a ring on her finger, and the background of the room where the footage was recorded, per the same WSFA account. Those details anchored the bureau's years-long public appeal for tips.
A Pattern of Jane Doe Cases
This is not the only such case the FBI has pursued. The bureau's July 2022 appeal for help identifying a separate woman, Jane Doe 43, used nearly identical language, asking for the public's help identifying an unknown female who may have had critical information pertaining to the identity of a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation investigation.
Officials continue to encourage anyone with information in cases like these to contact an ECAP investigator, a Crimes Against Children Investigator at their local FBI office, or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
