Early this morning, a woman was found with gunshot wounds following a domestic dispute that turned violent in Northwest Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called to the scene at 1421 Lavender Dr NW shortly after 1:30 a.m. due to a report of a shooting.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was engaged in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend when things escalated, resulting in her being shot. Despite the violence, she was fortunate to be transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect managed to elude the police, fleeing before their arrival, the investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to piece together the details of the incident.
