In a harrowing incident reported by the NYPD Crimestoppers on their social media, a 32-year-old man became the victim of a brutal assault in the Bronx. Taking place in front of 3391 Boston Road, the confrontation arose out of a verbal dispute that quickly escalated into physical violence, carried out by a group of three unidentified assailants. According to the NYPD Crimestoppers post, the attackers not only punched and kicked the victim but also took the violence to a chilling level as one of them stabbed the victim in the face and head with a sharp-edged weapon.
The severity of the assault is underlined by the fact that the victim sustained stab wounds to areas that are not only highly vulnerable but also viscerally personal – the face and head. The NYPD is actively searching for the perpetrators and has announced a reward of up to $3,500 for anyone who can provide information leading to their arrest and conviction.
