
The NYPD is on the lookout for a man accused of an attempted rape in the Bronx. The crime occurred last Friday, at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the area of Creston Avenue and East 184 Street, according to a recent social media post from the NYPD Crimestoppers.
The report states that an unidentified male approached a 70-year-old female victim from behind, and attempted to rape her. The NYPD 46 Precinct is actively investigating the incident, and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
In a bid to apprehend the suspect, a reward of up to $3,500 has been offered for information leading to an arrest. The public can submit tips by calling 800-577-TIPS, or anonymously post a tip to their website.
