According to a social media post from the Oklahoma City Fire Department, the fire began shortly after 10 a.m., with one occupant at home who managed to safely exit upon discovering the emergency situation.
The fire department post detailed the incident, stating, "Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire in the garage and smoke coming from the front door." It continued, "Crews quickly contained the fire to the garage area, though the home did sustain smoke damage throughout."
