The upcoming meeting, hosted by the WesTen District, will provide an opportunity for community members to learn about various aspects of the dam, from its historical significance to the forthcoming improvements. Highlighted topics include the overhaul of the dam's flood gates, the concrete spillway, and its general structure.
Experts from the Oklahoma City Utilities Department will spearhead the conversation, aiming to shed light on necessary upgrades and the project's overall plans. Though registration is not required for the event, attendees are encouraged to arrive before the meeting's start to secure a spot.
