The heat will intensify midweek. Wednesday's forecast shows a high near 96°F, climbing to 99°F by Thursday. By Friday, the city could see the thermometer hit 101°F, as calm winds persist.
The weekend continues the trend. Saturday is expected to hit 100°F with light morning winds shifting southwest in the afternoon, possibly gusting up to 20 mph. Nighttime temperatures will hover around 69°F under mostly cloudy skies.
Sunday may offer a brief cooldown, with a high near 92°F and variable winds gusting again to 20 mph. The new week will start slightly cooler, with Monday’s forecast showing sun and a high near 89°F.
