The Pinal County Sheriff's Office and Pinal County Attorney's Office are looking into fraudulent emails sent to unsuspecting applicants, claiming to be from Planning Manager Harvey Krauss and demanding large sums as 'Application Approval Fees.'
The emails, which incorporate the Pinal County logo and detailed application information, appear legitimate at first glance but originate from a fake email address, [email protected], instead of an official Pinal County domain. In response, county officials are urging residents to exercise caution, emphatically stating in a public notice that Pinal County Development Services "never requests payment in this form."
