On Monday, expect the right lane closure over English Bayou from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for US 171 NB. Afterwards, the right lane over the Calcasieu River will close from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. The following day, Tuesday, the right lane on US 171 SB will see closures over Calcasieu River from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and over English Bayou from 12:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. DOTD has stressed the importance of these routine checks for maintaining the structural integrity and safety of our bridges.
