
Fourth District police are on the lookout for two suspects involved in a late-night shooting at Murphy Blair Apartments on Chambers Street. The gunfire, which occurred on March 17, just after 11:35 p.m., damaged several apartments and vehicles, though it appears no one was injured in the fray, as per official reports.
The suspects have both been described as black males; one dressed in all black with a white shirt under his jacket and carrying an assault rifle, the other wearing a mask, a blue jacket with white writing, black pants and black/white shoes, brandishing a pistol. They are reportedly known to frequent the Preservation Place apartments at Cass Avenue & Hogan Street and have been classified as armed and dangerous.
Investigators are seeking assistance from the community. Anyone with information related to the shooting is encouraged to come forward.
