Prescott Valley residents may soon see a revamp of the town's Comprehensive Fee Schedule as proposed changes are set to be discussed in an upcoming Town Council Meeting. According to the official town announcement, these changes could come into effect as soon as July 1, 2025, with water and wastewater fees to follow on January 1, 2026, should the council give the green light after their June 26 session.
In the run-up to the official decision, the town has taken steps to ensure the proposals are thoroughly vetted, consulting with various stakeholders and town departments. Moreover, a Council Study Session is scheduled for May 1, 2025. This session will provide a platform for detailed discussions on the fee schedule's update. Interested parties can get a sneak peek of what's in store by comparing the proposed fees with the current ones through a link provided in the town's announcement.
Public input is a key component of the decision-making process, and as such, a Public Hearing is marked on the calendar for June 12, 2025. Set to take place at the Prescott Valley Council Chambers located at 7401 E Skoog Blvd., Prescott Valley, AZ, this hearing will open the floor at 5:30 p.m. for stakeholders to share their comments and concerns directly with the town's decision-makers.
