Metairie drivers, take note: the right westbound lane of West Metairie Avenue at Kent Avenue will be closed for drainage repairs from 8 a.m. According to Jefferson Parish's official website, it will be from Monday, April 14, to 5 p.m. Friday, April 18. Expect delays.
The closure is needed to fix street panels damaged by a drainage leak. Jefferson Parish says the repairs should be finished by Friday, April 18, weather permitting.
