Scottsdale's funding plan has changed for several road projects. The Scottsdale Road section from Jomax to Dixileta will continue under a local budget until a Maricopa Association of Governments request in October. The Carefree Highway project from Cave Creek to Scottsdale Road will use the original federal funding. The Raintree project from Hayden to Loop 101, which was going to have a roundabout, will not move forward. Maricopa Association of Governments plans to remove federal funding for the Scottsdale Road project in Fiscal Year 2026 to allow for reallocation.
