Those planning to navigate downtown Sevierville this coming Saturday may have found themselves bracing for detours and delays, but recent updates promise smooth sailing—or rather, driving. The City of Sevierville announced a change of plans for the upcoming Springfest event, originally set to shut down a busy stretch of Bruce Street.
In a turn of events that should ease the minds (and schedules) of local motorists, the festivities will now take up residence in the CNB parking lot, leaving roads and thoroughfares blissfully free from obstruction.
In an effort to constantly promptly inform residents, the city's social media page provided clarity and direction. "This event has been relocated to the CNB parking lot. No road closure will be necessary, and the City parking lot and gazebo will remain open," clarified the City of Sevierville's Facebook post. This is a significant shift from their initial traffic advisory which warned of closures on Bruce Street, from Court Avenue to Parkway, initially scheduled to last for the duration of Saturday, April 12, 2025, from early morning until late at night.
